Our Ongoing Programs



Environment Protection Program

We organize various seminars and awareness programs on Global Warming, Climate Change and many more to save the Environment. We even distribute saplings to aware people about the necessasity of Plantation.

We organize seminar on climate change and global warming: We arranged a Biodiversity programme by the students of different college. The students were very much concerned about this seminar and they enjoyed a lot. It can refer to genetic variation, ecosystem variation or species variation within an area or planet. Climate Change and Global Warming Climate change and Global warming refer to an increase in average global temperature. This is caused primarily by increase in greenhouse gases (carbon-dioxide). We also arrange Seminars by the students and their guardians. Some teachers and some speakers are also there. We also celebration World Earth Day. Earth Day has taken the role of tree planting. On Earth Day enjoying the fresh air, contact with the soil and companionship with nature, SREEBHUMI JIGEESHA recently celebrated this day by two days Seminar at Bandel Girls Mission, Choutara, Hooghly District.

Education Material Distribution Program


"Giving Wings to a Child" is our inititiative towards supporting underprivileged children with Education Material according to their grade and curriculum to access quality education and make their dreams come true.

The distribution of educational materials to school students across different schools are conducted quiet successfully, with the aim of enhancing the learning experience and academic performance of the students. The initiative covered a wide range of materials, including notebooks, stationery items, and educational aids. Through this distribution, we arre able to reach a significant number of students, providing them with essential tools to support their education. The materials are distributed in a systematic manner, ensuring that each student received the necessary items according to their grade level and curriculum requirements. The feedback from students, teachers, and school administrators was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing gratitude for the support. They highlight the impact of these materials in improving student engagement, participation, and overall academic performance. Moving forward, we plan to continue and expand this initiative, reaching more schools and students in need. We believe that providing access to quality educational materials is a crucial step towards ensuring a brighter future for the students and the community as a whole.

Free Medical Camps & Health Education Program



We organize Free Medical Camps with a wide range of services including general health check-ups, dental check-ups, eye check-ups, and distribution of essential medicines. We also organize various Health Education Programs.
Recently a medical check-up camp was organized at Kamakhya Balak Ashram aimed to provide health care services to the 500 underprivileged children and community people, who are residing in the surrounding community. The camp was organized in collaboration with Rotary Club. It aimed to address the health care needs of the children and other people, who often lack access to regular medical check-ups and treatment. The objective of this camp was to provide free medical check-ups to children and other people in need. To identify and address common health issues prevalent in the community and to educate children and caregivers about health and hygiene practices. The camp successfully provided medical services to over 500 children and community people. The medical check-up camp at Kamakhya Balak Ashram was a significant step towards improving the health and well-being of the underprivileged children in the community. It not only provided much-needed medical services but also empowered the community with knowledge that can help prevent health issues in the future. Such initiatives are crucial in ensuring that every citizen has access to basic health care services.
Our camps offer a range of medical services, including general health check-ups, dental check-ups, eye check-ups, and distribution of essential medicines. A team of volunteer doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals provided their services throughout the day. The children and caregivers are also given health education sessions on topics such as nutrition, sanitation, and personal hygiene. These sessions aim to empower the community with knowledge and practices that promote good health. Many common health issues such as dental problems, malnutrition, and vision impairments are identified and addressed during such camp. The health education sessions help to raise awareness about preventive health care practices among the community members.

Awareness & Various Skill Development Programs for Women










We organize various Women's Awareness & Skill Development Programs covering health, finance, leadership etc. It is designed to help women in developing their skills and confidence to succeed.
JUTE AND HANDICRAFT TRAINING FOR WOMEN
Recently a training programs on jute and handicraft was conducted for 110 women at the Sreebhumi Jigeesha Beliaghata office, funded by different departments of the Government of West Bengal. The program aimed to empower women with skills in jute crafting and handicrafts, providing them with opportunities for economic independence. The training sessions covered various aspects of jute and handicraft making, including techniques, design, and marketing. Experienced trainers and artisans were engaged to impart practical knowledge and hands-on training to the participants. The program was highly beneficial for the women, many of whom were able to enhance their skills and learn new techniques. The Jute Handicraft training was for 10 days where Handicraft training continued for 6 months. It also served as a platform for them to showcase their creativity and talent. The support from the state government departments was crucial in making the program a success, providing the necessary funding and resources. The program not only empowered women with valuable skills but also contributed to the promotion of traditional crafts and sustainable livelihoods. In the future, we plan to organize more such training programs to further empower women and promote traditional crafts in the community.
TAILORING TRAINING FOR WOMEN
Recently we conducted a three-month-long tailoring training program for women at the organization's Beliaghata office, funded by well-wishers of the organization. The program aimed to empower women with skills in tailoring, providing them with opportunities for self-employment and economic independence. The training program covered basic and advanced techniques in tailoring, including garment construction, pattern making, and machine operation. Experienced trainers were engaged to provide hands-on training and guidance to the participants. Throughout the program, the women showed great enthusiasm and dedication, actively participating in the training sessions and honing their skills. They were able to learn new techniques and improve their sewing abilities, which would help them in starting their own tailoring businesses or securing employment in the garment industry. The support from the well-wishers of the organization was instrumental in making the training program possible, providing the necessary funding for equipment, materials, and trainers' fees. The program not only empowered women with valuable skills but also contributed to their socio-economic development and empowerment. In the future, we plan to organize more such training programs to continue empowering women and supporting their journey towards self-sufficiency and independence.

Disaster Management Programs

We are always on our toes to fight against any disaster and provide relief to the people in need during any unwanted situation arising in society. We also reach to help people if any prediction is made towards any natural calamity.

Awareness Program at School

Recently an awareness program was conducted at Ultadanga Sponsored Girls High School, focusing on various burning issues of the society, funded by Hulatack. The program aimed to educate and empower students on topics that are crucial for their well-being and development. Approximately 150 students participated in the program, engaging in discussions and interactive sessions on topics such as health and hygiene, women's empowerment, environmental conservation, and digital literacy. Experts and guest speakers were invited to share their knowledge and insights on these issues, providing valuable information and perspective to the students. The program was well-received by the students, who actively participated in the discussions and activities. They expressed a keen interest in learning more about the topics and appreciated the opportunity to engage with experts in the field. The support from Hulatack was instrumental in making the program a success, providing the necessary resources and funding to organize the event. The program not only raised awareness about important issues but also inspired the students to take action and make a positive impact in their communities. In the future, we plan to organize more awareness programs in schools and communities, continuing to educate and empower individuals on various pressing issues that affect society.
Other such programs were organized in some other schools too.

Clothes Distribution


Over the past year, we have distributed clothing to hundreds of families, providing them with the necessary clothing items to keep them warm and dry. Our program has been made possible through the generosity of our supporters and volunteers, who have donated clothes and their time to help those in need.

The clothing distribution initiative has had a tangible impact on the lives of those we serve, and we are proud to be making a positive difference in our community. With your continued support, we are confident that we will be able to reach even more people in need and make a lasting impact in their lives.

Notable Days celebration

Sreebhumi Jigeesha celebrates almost all the major events or the notable days to create awareness among community in various project sites where around 50 participants of each sites participate in the event.
The notable days are: Rabindra Jayanti, Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, Netaji Jayanti, May Day, International Women's Day etc. where our members and the people from the community participates with songs and dance program. We also celebrate the Independence Day and Republic Day by hoisting our national flag and singing our national anthem and song followed by some programs showing various phases of freedom movement. We also celebrate national youth day to encourage and motivate today's youth towards their role in the national progress.
